This song starts my fascination with loopers. The basic beat is a loop made on the original Boss Loopstation pedal. Friends Sam Bass and Robin Coomer would also be so inspired by that original pedal that they named themselves Loop Station and performed and recorded under that name for several years.
I began using other devices, including the Electrix Repeater, to perform this song live, sampling the track and looping it. Today, my looper of choice is the TC Electronic Ditto. Or Ableton live.
